SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE
3/4 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup rice vinegar* 1/2 cup ketcup 1 1/2 Tablespoon soy sauce 3 cup pineapple juice divided 1 1/2 Tablespoon cornstarch 1 chopped pepper 1 1/2 cups pineapple chunks 3 Tablespoon sliced green onions Mix in saucepan brown sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, 2 1/2 cup pineapple juice and bring to boil. Mix together 1/2 cup pineapple juice and cornstarch together and add to sweet and sour sauce. Add pepper, pineapple chunks. Pour over meat and sprinkle with green onion. * rice vinegar is a milder vinegar than white or apple cider. Pineapple chunks, pepper, and green onion is added if you want to.
